On this occasion W Bro. Robert Guth, SW, prepared spaghetti bolognese which, although a regular menu item, is always prepared with care and served with benevolence. Assisting Robert were W Bro. Roman Cholawinskyj, who again exercised his authority and commandeered the sink; VW Bro. Graeme Moller and Bro. Russ Richards who managed the individual servings of spaghetti and bolognese sauce at the hot plates; Ms Veronica, the charming public face of the evening who handed the clientele their evening meal; and Bro. Daniel Alarcon, who was occupied in numerous duties including taking dishes to the sink and passing meals from the hot plates to Veronica at the servery. Interestingly, Lodge Commonwealth again achieved the highest number of meals served this month. Both Veronica and Daniel are project co-ordinators who choose to assist in the kitchen while other co-ordinators manage duties in the dining area. VW Bro. David Slater and Bro. Alex Slater, both of Lodge Commonwealth, are also project co-ordinators.
Feeding the Needy June 2010

On Sunday, June 27, Lodge Commonwealth again participated in one of the District's coordinated community activities - Feeding the Needy. This activity is not only a worthy service to our local community, but one in which Masons can attend and practice our principles without having to be concerned with the overall management of the project.
