On Sunday, March 7, amid overcast skies and intermittent light to heavy showers, Commonwealth again facilitated one of the District's regular community services - Feeding the Needy. W Bro. Robert Guth, our SW, prepared the meals at his home throughout the afternoon and transported the same to the Griffin Centre.

The inclement weather suggested that clientele numbers would be low; however, we were taken by surprise and served the highest number of meals in recent months, which is becoming a trend. Numerous clients commented favorably on the quality of their meal, to which Robert deserves full credit, and to the exemplary hospitality and people skills demonstrated by Veronica (Daniel's Mum) who is the most recently appointed addition to the ranks of Feeding the Needy coordinators.

Our own attendance numbers were again lower than expected but can be attributed to several factors including the long weekend (Canberra Day) and other domestic / professional commitments.
