Bro. Alex Slater and Bro. Roman Cholawinskyj made a start on the initial preparations at the Queanbeyan Masonic Centre and enjoyed a couple of hours discussing a range of topics while the sauce simmered. The duo were greeted at the Griffin Centre by Bro. Russ Richards, Bro. Nicholas McCaskie and Bro. Zaine Bulot who was Initiated into the Order at our last regular meeting. Also assisting were Bro. Daniel Alarcon, from Lodge Caledonia, and his Mum, Veronica, who expressed a passionate desire to engage in charitable activities. Daniel was showing his Mum the ropes and we look forward to seeing Veronica at future Masonic charity events.

The Lodge's final Feeding the Needy for 2009 was scheduled on November 15 amid busy times as most regular attendees found themselves more than preoccupied with University studies, pre-examination cramming, or engaged in other domestic or professional responsibilites.
