On Thursday, 26 August, Lodge Commonwealth of Australia hosted the transfer of the District Grand Inspector of Workings (DGIW) Jewel of Office ceremony where upon VW Bro. Peter Bindon ceremoniously transferred the Jewel of District 103 to his successor, VW Bro. Warren Barsley, a member of Lodge Commonwealth of Australia.
On 5 December, Lodge Commonwealth celebrated its annual Installation with all those involved performing well. Special mention must be made of the Installing Master, RW Bro Warren Turton, who did a magnificent job and the new WM, W Bro Roman Cholawinskyj who, should he continue as he began, will provide us with a great year.
The election of office bearers and appointments for 2009 - 2010 was held at the September regular meeting. The following brethren were duly nominated and were elected by unanimous vote to be invested into their respective office at the annual Installation on 5th December 2009:
On Saturday, 6 December, 71 Brethren were present at the reinstallation of RW Bro Warren Turton. RW Bro Paul Fletcher, Deputy Grand Master, led a delegation of 19 Grand Lodge Officers including 5 PAGMs, the DGIW of District 104 and many local Grand Lodge Officers.
