Bro. Jeff Moon was welcomed by the WM as a member on Thursday, 27 May. Jeff first visited our Lodge in February where the WM suggested that he spend the time to visit all local Lodges before making his choice as to which one to apply for affiliation. Taking that advice Jeff visited numerous Lodges over the subsequent two months.

Jeff hit the floor running by delivering a Charge on his first night as a new member. Jeff has a strong Masonic base with his father-in-law and brother-in-law both in the Craft. Jeff and his wife, Cate, joined us at our recent Annual Lodge Dinner at Yowani Country Club where Cate discussed her own Masonic history with the WM which includes being a member, in her early years, of the Order of the Rainbow with an ongoing interest in the Order of the Eastern Star which may be pursued later.

Jeff is a member of Lodge Emu Plains, Orchard Hills Sydney, where he has served a term as Steward and will be invested as JD at their Installation on 4th June. Jeff travels to Sydney each month to attend his mother Lodge, where his father-in-law is a member and a Past DGIW - Jeff desired to also join a local Lodge in Canberra.
