Randy's progress in the Order attracted the attendance of numerous visitors including: W Bro. Mike Macnamara, WM Lodge Queanbeyan St Andrew, who led a fraternal delegation numbering six announced by RW Bro. David Powell, DC; W Bro. Alan Carnall, WM Lodge Gowrie, with his SW W Bro. Malcolm Mann and IPM W Bro. Jeff Le Faucheur; RW Bro. Ron Woodhill and W Bro's. Greg Scott-Pacey and John O'Connor, JW, from Yass Lodge of Concord; W Bro. Nasri, SW Lodge Jerrabomberra Daylight; Bro. Jag Basant, Lodge Capitol; and of particular note Bro's Wayne Poulton (FCF), Lodge Nowra Unity; and Bro. Malcolm Poulton, Lodge Queanbeyan St Andrew (EAF). The JW's Chair was ably occupied by our Membership Officer, W Bro. Sid Penhaligon, in the absence of W Bro. Ben Bopf. Malcolm Mann again filled the SW's Chair toward the end of the ceremony to permit our SW, W Bro. Robert Guth, to retire early to prepare the Festive Board which comprised succulent roast chicken, cake and ice-cream.

Bro. Randy Walton took his Second Step in the Order at our regular meeting on Thursday, 27 May. Randy's preliminary work and engagement with the ceremony were conducted in an exemplary manner which attracted comment from both Lodge members and visitors alike. The ceremony was attended by VW Bro. Peter Bindon, DGIW 103.
