Although all charges were good, RW Bro Warren Turton made special mention of W Bro Leo Praks’ Final Charge, which was word perfect. There was a fraternal from Lodge of Truth, Braidwood, led by their WM, W Bro Don Buckley, and accompanied by the brethren pictured below. Nicholas had been passed at Lodge of Truth, Braidwood. Nicholas was elected a Steward shortly after he was raised and W Bro Keith Cossart was re-elected a Caring Officer for another year. A couple of brethren attended whom we have not seen in lodge for some time, viz. W Bro Dennis Martin and W Bro Kerry McPherson. We hope that they will return soon to other meetings. The delicious meal in the South was produced by W Bro Robert Guth, with the assistance of Bro Ciaran Bird and Bro Alex Slater.

At our PMs’ night on 26 November, W Bro Sid Penhaligon was in the chair and he was supported by a goodly number of PMs. It was an exceptionally good night and Bro McCaskie, who had not known for certain less than a week before that he would be raised at this meeting, was again an exemplary candidate, ably guided by the SD for the evening, W Bro Graeme Moller.
